I've known John@A.I.R for 7 years and he is a stand up classy business man. I've moved around the globe during the seven year time period,when returning home Ive always comeback to his shop. As I've showed up at A. I. R unannounced over the years with problems regarding my siblings Volvo or my Ford diesel,Subaru Sti and Harley Davidson Street Glide he has always put time aside no matter how busy or booked he is by accommodating my mechanical needs. His crew of minions and techs along with Carlo the service writer are very well diversed master techs. A.I.R is the only uncorrupted business I know these days. After retirement I've relocated to Silverdale and I still bring my business to A.I.R in the UP.

Short- I've taken my e30 bmw to them for work twice, and will be retuning whenever I need to. Long- I try to repair and maintain my vehicles myself, and my current chariot is a 91, so most everything is fairly simple, but it's also a tight fit, and 27 year old metal and plastic is not always cooperative. Hence the first time I took it, to get the timing belt and water pump replaced, with parts that I had already. They performed the work perfectly, no more, no less, and for about $60 less than the best estimate from anyone on this side of the bridge. The second time, my driveshaft support failed out of town, on memorial day weekend. Being after hours, I couldn't get ahold of anyone directly, so I had it towed to a parking lot down the street, sent an email about it, and hoped it might get looked at by Friday. I called Tuesday, and was told it would get looked at Wednesday. I got a call again Wednesday with exactly what it needed and a breakdown of what each part cost, owing to previous experiences, I cross-shopped for parts to see if I could save some money. I could have, but only if I waited a week for shipping. The premium I would have paid to get the parts by Sunday matched their price to have it BY Friday. BY was the very important operative word, everything was done Thursday. I picked the car up the day I hoped it would be inspected by, and paid about the same same amount for labor as before, meaning they did it in about half the time I would have. Bottom line- Go. You will receive fair prices, quality work, and excellent customer service and support.

Ladies...(and Gentlemen) this is the second luxury vehicle that u have taken to AIR. My current BMW X5 required a full NEW ENGINE only 3 weeks after purchase! AIR took care of everything; AND, allotted me enough time to make payments. Ladies, take your vehicle here with CONFIDENCE!!
